Dream and day

What a great morning! Last night I played down in bed around 8 because I was just so drained and I kept dozing off but waking up again. The slightest noise would catch my attention and eventually around 9 I most likely fell asleep.

I had a dream that I was driving a tractor, something like this one:

And we were 4 in the cab, my youngest sister, my twin nieces and myself. Now you have to understand that there a small, tiny hill between the farm and my parents place. For some reason I wasn’t able to drive over this hill. For some reason I had to start up on a high gear and before reaching the top of the hill the tractor would stall and we would back down the hill. For some other random reason my other niece was walking on the road and I almost ran her over so after freaking out I told her to come in the tractor. We were now 5 in the cab. Now you might think there’s a lot of room in that cab…. You also have to understand that this tractor has a GPS, a computer and auto-steering. All these things take up a lot of room. Just before I woke up we made it up the hill. Yay!

I looked at the clock and it said 3:45 and all I could think was Holy smokes! I actually slept! Now I don’t know if you guys have ever experienced this but I’m going to try to explain this. Have you ever had a throat so sore that it hurts to swallow? That’s how it’s been for me for the pass couple days. I avoided swelling so much that I would accumulate so much saliva that I would start drooling. I put a tissue close to my mouth and fell back asleep. When I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock I got up and the tissue was stuck to my face….. What a way to wake up, haha. (Mlle Goule I can hear you laughing)

I went to the office (this is where I get my mail) and noticed that I had three packages What could they be?

One was a painting, thank you Elizabeth

One was a ring, something I’ve been waiting for a long time. On this ring it says My story isn’t over yet.  I have a pretty good history with this saying and it means quite a bit to me.

And the third was a letter, a drawing and a picture of a friend of mine. I love this little boy ❤

I was reminded today to not take things for granted. I woke up this morning tired as heck and was certain I would have a very gloomy day but things just kept getting better. A lot of presents in the mail, the good company at work, the good phone calls and the much work I accomplished.

Tonight we have a young adults movie night and we’ll be watching For Greater Glory.  A great true story about the Catholic war in a state in Mexico. How much would you suffer for your faith? Would you die for God?

I hope you’re having a good day,
